What Adam Shed doesn't like about Kim Son Restaurant:
I feel bad for them. Smells musty, and like furniture hasn't been updated to keep up with modern trends. Looks so impressive outside and we just read about it on the book, the immigrant advantage as a Houston landmark. The food was perfect and the menu is interesting. The art is gorgeous. The carpet and other furniture felt like grandma's musty furniture. I wish they could get Gordon Ramsay to come save it, renovate... View all feedback. What Sam likes about Kim Son Restaurant:
Visited around 4:30pm and we were seated immediately as the restaurant was fairly empty. Our waitress was great and the food was out in less than 5 minutes!! I had the Singapore noodles, and they were amazing. I loved the pork in the dish. Also this is definitely a strange praise I think, but the citrus water was really good. I would absolutely come again and recommend to friends. View all feedback.

read moreKim Son may have a few issues with their decor and ambiance, but the food they serve is undeniably delicious. The menu is interesting with plenty of options to choose from, and the art inside the restaurant is gorgeous. The service is efficient and the food arrives quickly, such as their amazing Singapore noodles. While the seafood quality might not be top-notch, dishes like the Vietnamese crepe and orange chicken are definitely worth trying. The portions are generous and can easily be shared. Overall, Kim Son is a good Asian restaurant to visit in the downtown area with consistently good food and attentive service.

I came here for a Pilipino & Vietnamese wedding.
