What Louise Saidi likes about Yama’s Fish Market:
Last time (December 2021) I just tried and liked it very much. I tried again this time. Before that time, my favorite picnic was Young's, but it was slightly salty. Yama was not salty, and the pig was so juicy and tender. I also like their composition of the pages (Lomi-Salate, Haupia and Poke). Recommend this place. They have best poke and luke in the city. This place was average, I have somewhere better Hawaiian food at a similar price. The amount of food you get for the price is ok if you don't get a plate with Poke on it. The service was good, but the parking lot is pretty tight. View all feedback.

read moreYama's is a Hawaiian restaurant that offers a mix of traditional island cuisine with a variety of options to choose from. While some reviewers found the prices to be a bit high, most agreed that the quality of the food was worth it. The portions were decent, and the service was friendly and attentive. The menu includes favorites like spicy ahi masago poke, musubi, and grilled ahi plates, which were praised for their freshness and flavor. The restaurant also offers a selection of desserts that are worth trying. Despite the less-than-ideal neighborhood and lack of dine-in options, many customers recommend trying Yama's for an authentic taste of Hawaii. Overall, it seems that Yama's is a popular choice for those looking for a local Hawaiian food experience with fresh, delicious dishes that are worth the price.
I usually come here for her spicy ahi masago poke and musubi. Her musubi reminds me of the mother and pop shop. It's not just spam, but spam soaked in the sweet...
