The portions were too small for the price and some of the dishes were not served hot.
Our first time at this restaurant was great. Our server was excellent, providing detailed service, and the food was delicious. We will definitely return!
My husband and I really grew accustomed to Nobu's. We love it so much. The ambiance is quaint, dark. Not too fond of the two-seater tables that are lined up in a row. Makes it less intimate setting due to the close proximity of each tables. Almost of eavesdropping on other couple's conversation due to music decibel level in the room, almost forced to speak up. When available, we jump at the chance to seat at the Sushi Bar. Wish it wasn't first come first serve, however, we're always grateful for the opportunity. My husband prefers the sushi bar because its animated and lively and he's able to watch Itamae create different dishes. Food is always incredible. Whatever we choose, we always light up. It so delicious. I love the uni nigiri. So smooth in texture and creamy. By far the spider rolls are the best I ever tasted and we both adore the unagi nigiri. The Wagyu Beef Dumplings are our favorite and we always wished it came in 4's because it's really hard to get dibs on the 3rd last dumpling. We love going to Nobu and I believe I made my husband a true fan believer.
The food was amazing and the service was top-notch. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
The food quality is better in NY. I was disappointed with the rock shrimp tempura. The batter was over cooked. The crab tempura was over dressed. The food quality is not consistent with Nobu in NY. I was disappointed Bec the prices are about the same. Not sure I will go back next time we are visiting Honolulu.
