W M Bar-B-Q Burger: A local institution since 1940 with the best BBQ burgers on Oahu! This local institution is a must-try for anyone looking for a delicious and authentic Hawaiian BBQ burger. The HAL Special is a local favorite because it combines the best of both worlds: a BBQ hamburger and BBQ steak. Plus, the crab flavored salad is a must-try, but it often runs out, so be sure to visit the restaurant early!

Tourist Review: this spot definitely did not disappoint! The HAL Special was delicious with its BBQ steak. The buns have a slight sweat taste to eat (almost like Hawaii buns). The Green River drink is refreshing but a little too artificial tasting to me. Parking is very limited and waves of people come in sometimes so you might not have a spot to park. There are very limited areas to eat there but there are no seats. You have to eat standing. Highly recommend eating here if you are craving a burger.

Been coming here for 40 years now. it hasn't really changed, and that is a good thing.

Nestled between City Mill Chaminade U, my lady friend said I'd like them. I got a Royal burger, she had a Cheeseburger with fries we split a large Green River. Service was fast friendly, yet nowhere nearby to sit. We'll be back soon!
