Via Gelato - Honolulu

We family of 5 came here 3 times on our 10 days vacation. We drove around the island looking for ice and after a few bad stops we found this magnificent place. The Gelato is vegan friendly and there is a taste rotation since some of the flavors we had the first visit were not there the second. The staff is super friendly and friendly and we appreciate that the music was soft for all our order could hear. We will definitely return when we visit Oahu again.

Love the selection of Gelato. There are always creative and interesting flavors to try. This time I ordered the vegan caramel and honeycombs. Cream and delicious.

If you think about Gelato, you probably don't think about Hawaii immediately (less sensitive people would think about something like Italy, while more sensitive people think about ice creams eggless alternative), and you wouldn't be wrong. Via Gelato does not try to make a great statement about a great unknown gelato culture in Hawaii, because there is no one. Instead, they simply make some really good product with local inspired flavors that usually requires the impulse purchase on second portions and return journeys within the same week. Very cool!

The staff was very friendly and gelato was great. The butter beer was sweet with very soft soft flavors, also got a pint to go.

Nice gelato shop in Kaimuki with an island influence of flavors like haupia, guava, green tea. Staff is super friendly and helpful
