I frequently visit this Subway for their sub sandwiches, despite having another location closer to home. Usually, the staff is quite friendly; however, during my last two visits, the owner's son was on duty and was unfriendly and rude. I might need to find a new Subway to frequent or return to the Koko Marina location.
Extremely disappointing service. The young employee preparing my sandwich was too busy chatting with his coworker, who seemed equally exhausted by the conversation. I was in a hurry, yet it took 20 minutes to get just one sandwich. They were also discussing some odd topics. I won't be returning here.
Customer service at this Subway location is very poor. Be cautious when paying with a credit card, as they added an extra 20% tip to my bill without informing me. I noticed it on my receipt and asked the employee, who claimed there was an option to decline the tip. However, this wasn’t true—only the total amount was shown on the screen. I’ve used similar credit card machines elsewhere that clearly offer tipping options, but this one did not. I’m happy to tip when the service is good, but this worker did not deserve it. Make sure to check your receipt carefully at this Subway.
Terrible customer service at Subway. I went to pick up my Uber perk drink and cookie, but the staff member had an attitude and said this location doesn’t work with Uber, even though my app clearly states to pick up my perk here. If she’s unwilling to help, Subway should consider replacing her. The menu might be great, but the service definitely needs improvement.
Terrible service at this Subway location! When I asked for extra cucumber on my sandwich, the employee gave me an annoyed look and said only 3 slices were allowed on a 6-inch sub. I told her I’d never heard of such a limit on the menu before. Reluctantly, she added 2 more slices but kept complaining. I was curious about her role since she was directing other staff, and she revealed she was the owner. I shared my disappointment with her attitude and said I probably wouldn't return. She didn’t seem bothered, saying it was fine if I didn’t come back. I love Subway and their menu, but I really hope they improve oversight of their franchise owners.
