I came here mainly for drinks. I have two old fashions. It was technically brunch time when I ordered the first, so it came with a shot of orange juice I thought was a little strange, but it tasted surprisingly good with the whisky. I came here mainly for drinks. I have two old fashions. It was technically brunch time when I ordered the first, so it came with a shot of orange juice I thought was a little strange, but it tasted surprisingly good with the whisky. I also ordered some grilledries, and they could have been the best fries I've ever eaten! I didn't even have to immerse them in every sauce. Service was a little slow, especially considering that the place was not so busy at all, but the foods and drinks were delicious, and I liked the mood of the place it seemed like a nice mix of locals and tourists. Also this place is very easy to miss, especially when you drive. It's in an area where you wouldn't expect a cool bar to be. But trust on your card.
Great place to have a drink and food. We are right there when they opened because the reservations were all booked when we wanted to book a day table. They could put us right away. You have a wide selection of cocktails and whiskey. My wife had a spicy margarita with fresh jalapeños that was delicious. We had her waffleries with spicy Sriracha sauce and they were perfect for lunch. 10/10 coming back.
I stayed at the hotel on a business trip. I was standing up at a busy night and could almost get no place, even for one at the bar. Luckily, I'm looking into a corner. The Bourbon and the Burger were both incredible. Beautiful location too!
What a great place! Loved the ambience and cozy feeling. The bartenders and owners were all very human and made us amazing drinks. We had the shrimps bruschetta and Scottish eggs, both were skrumbling.
Good food, friendly atmosphere, delicious drinks, and timely service. This place is famous for the best cocktails in Hawaii, along with the other big players, but there will always be respect for Dave Newman. Hats off for another great recreation of what he had at the precious location.
