The ong choy with tofu was fantastic, and the crispy rice was incredible. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of options available, even though the vegan items weren't clearly marked on the menu. Once we mentioned that we were vegan, our server knew just what to recommend. The atmosphere was lovely, although the neighborhood felt a bit sketchy; this part of Chinatown has definitely seen better times. The back a... View all feedback.

Delicious food with plenty of vegan options! Just a reminder to mention in the notes that there should be no eggs when ordering the pad Thai—make sure to emphasize that it should be vegan. View all feedback.
Negative critiken writing is extremely rare for me, but that must be said. for more than two years order my man and I from this restaurant the delivery to show support during the pandemic. for more than two years he has ordered via the phone and online. he always asks that they prepare certain items vegan so that I can also eat. last night after he found eier in pad thai for the SECOND time, he kindly called them to know and check if the early roll were vegan. it was then told that they can not be made vegan because they are cooked in the same frit as meat. So, for over two years, I have eaten non-vegan rolls, and they never complained to say anything about it until he specifically asked for review (which he actually did in the past when ordering via the phone). when we order, they even write vegan on the crates. please train their employees to pay attention to nutrition restrictions. in contrast to volksglauben, vegan not choose to avoid animal products because it is a fad; it is an ethical decision. serve non-vegan foods to a vegan and let them think it's vegan is akin to eat non-kosher to a practicing Jewish person (minus of religious aspekt). with others, it is completely against our convictions. although writing the word vegan on a non-vegan container of pad thai is not in order, I can give the advantage of the doubt and assume that the restaurant was probably really busy and it was an honest mistake. to the happiness I saw the eggs before I tried to eat it, in contrast to the last time, when I first realized after a few bites and noticed an unexpected taste. However, not tell us a dish can be made 't vegan for over two years, despite our explicit inquiries, is negligence best people put much believe in strangers when ordering food from restaurants. we trust that the people who prepare our food will take the matter seriously, that we 're ingest what they 're serving us '. Thankfully I have no serious allergies to what they have given us. I will not eat here, go forward, which is too bad, because I really like to support places that try to get involved. if they're doing something vegan or it's too much of a effort to take inquiries seriously, just let them know the people so that they can meet other things. it is simply not in order to be dishonest for customers about eating.
Almost the whole menu had vegan option making sure to do no fish sauce, etc. everything is made fresh to order so that’s why it can be customized. Highly recommend the papaya salad and pumpkin curry were amazing.
Found this place thanks to happy cow and a stranger who saw me and my family struggling to find a place to eat. We were greeted right away with a friendly staff member who made our check in process so smooth (COVID restrictions require you to show proof of vaccine or negative COVID test). We had actually driven to go eat at the other side diner but were completely rejected (very rudely) because my husband and I only have digital proof of vaccination (which complied with state requirements as well as us being health care workers and being fully vaccinated since January 2021). Thank you to all the staff at Olay’s for turning this experience into such an amazing one. There was plenty of vegan options for me and my husband and our host was knowledgeable on vegan options and answered all our questions. She really exceeded great level of service. So many vegan options that I had a difficult time choosing. The courtyard seating was so far from the street that I forgot I was in downtown; such a peaceful location.
Most items on the menu have a clearly labeled vegan option. I got the pad ki map and it was extraordinary. I ordered it spicy and the spice level was good but nothing crazy. We also had the mango sticky rice and it was extremely flavorful and a perfect consistency.
