The Hook Poke market was just that! From the hook good! The portions were beautiful and plentiful for the price. We tried 4 different options and loved it all. I'm definitely back. Customer support was out of place. Very friendly. View all feedback.
Definitely a recommended choice if you are trying out different poke spots.Very flavorful poke! Slightly saltier than other poke I've had around here but I don't mind it. Ahi tuna is fresh and meaty.Somewhat of a line but moves pretty quickPictured is the Spicy Ahi and Hawaiian Style.Parking: Park across the street for plenty of parking and walk over.
The best poke I ever had in Hawaii. I would recommend you to try cold ginger ahi poke. The cold ginger tasted like ginger scallion you got when you eat Chinese chicken. The best combinationFood: 5/5
A must have when you're in Hawaii!!Off the Hook Poke Market is by far my favorite poke place on the island. The food is immaculate every single time. I really have no complaints the line up sometimes looks long but it goes quick. The presentation is 10/10, and all of the flavour profiles are well balanced. Also, if you're looking for a nice romantic dinner then this is not the place for you since there's no dine in area. However, if you are looking for chairs and tables, across the street at the Safeway has areas to eat outdoors. We had:Hawaiian style which is a classic consisting of local ingredients. Its simple and light but still packs some nice flavours. 9/10Japan Delux sweet miso with ginger and shiso leaf. Has decadent umami flavours that open up your pallet. 9.5/10Cold Ginger Ahi loaded with green onion and ginger. Flavourful and packs a good aromatic punch ? it's warm yet fiery and refreshingly comforting. 9/10Wasabi Furikake Ahi lightly spiced Wasabi mayo with furikake. Boarders between simple and complex flavors that leave a tingle of joy. 9.5/10
There are many poke places on Oahu but this is probably my favorite (although I would especially love it if they offered also salmon poke). Definitely get the sushi rice, it's worth the extra fee.And interestingly, something I wouldn't expect from a poke place, they have the best citrus (Yuzu) sorbet I've ever tasted on Oahu. (Their other sorbets are just so-so).The last couple times I was here in March their freezer broke down and they didn't have any sorbet so I hope they got a new freezer by now.Recommend you check it out
On a search to find poke as good as I found in Okinawa, my friend Koji recommended Off da Hook!It was fantastic! Very delicious. The favorite place outside of Okinawa so far!Much better than anything in Southern California!Try all the flavors!
