Please dont... read more They havent updated it anywhere online but the store is closed down! Went today after seeinf it was open online and there was nothing there anymore. Please dont waste your time and make the drive into Waikiki!

It makes for a nice, quick snack as I'm browsing the ar... read more MoDo is a cute little mochi donut shop in the back of Mitsuwa Marketplace that I've been to a few times. It makes for a nice, quick snack as I'm browsing the area in Waikiki. The selection of donut flavors is small, but the options are good. I've tried the matcha, ube, strawberry, lilikoi, and kurogoma (black sesame) donuts from MoDo, and they all had good, thick icing and a strong flavor. My family's favorite flavor was the lilikoi, although I liked the matcha the best. The dough isn't super chewy the way some mochi products are. I do prefer some of the competitors' mochi donuts, but I would definitely get one from MoDo again if I was in Mitsuwa or the general area.
