The fried garlic shrimp is a must appetizer here! So crunchy and yummy. The tsukemen soup was a bit salty but overall great choice if you feel like craving some ramen/noodle. View all feedback.
What Desi Wright doesn't like about Menya Le Nood:
The pork bao is the best thing we ordered. My daughter loved her pork ramen but found a piece of rubber band in it. They did take something off our bill because of it. The gyoza was ok… the chicken karaage was bland. View all feedback.
Had some ramen here with my family. I got the Shoyu Tsukemen and the Shoyu Ramen. The Shoyu Tsukemen had a sweet taste to the broth which I didn’t expect, but as I kept eating, it really complimented the the Kakuni Pork Belly which came with the noodles. The Tsukemen noodles were thicker than a normal ramen noodle, and they had a chewy texture which soaked up the broth when dipped inside. Different from the Shoyu Tsukemen broth, the Shoyu Ramen did not have that sweet taste to it, but had a significant dashi taste to it, which was delicious as well. Both dishes were outstanding, and would love to come back again soon if I’m in Oahu again.
My favorite ramen place! The noodles have great chew and the broth is delicious my favorite is the tonkotsu. I love that a regular menya bowl comes with an egg (not an add on). Parking is limited (street parking in front) and there are only a few tables, so I usually just order carry out. It comes well packaged for carrying. Staff is always very friendly.
Excellent food and friendly service. The tsukemen was amazingly pungent, and the spicy additions and raw garlic on the table pushed the taste factor over the top. The shrimp and fried chicken was also amazing. The wontons were okay, definitely worth the happy hour prices. A little bit on the pricey side, but I think the taste and the quality makes it worth it for an occasional treat.
My favorite tsukemen : Love the shoyu flavor, but they are all great
So so good. Got the Shoyu Ramen with a Shrimp Bao Bun combo. Got it at #2 spicy, which honestly hurt a bit, but that’s not their fault, it’s mine. I should be stronger... Super flavorful, great price, and helpful friendly staff. Will definitely be visiting again!
