Mei Sum Dim Sum - Honolulu

This restaurant is a wonderful spot for Dimsum. The serving sizes were generous for the price, and the attentive waitstaff provided excellent service to the customers. The meats were fresh and did not have the frozen taste commonly found in other establishments.

I would never recommend this restaurant! The customer service is terrible. While eating, my mother discovered a toothpick in her food, which was extremely off-putting. The waitress didn't even apologize, she just asked if we wanted more food. As soon as we walked in, we noticed how dirty the place was. The tables were dusty, especially the glass ones, the floor was dirty, and the kitchen looked very messy. While in the kitchen, my cousins and I overheard someone yelling at the staff and a heated argument. The food took a long time to arrive, and we could see why - the kitchen staff seemed very unorganized. There were limited options on the menu, and the food was greasy. The dishes looked like they hadn't been properly cleaned. Trying to arrange seating for a large group was difficult. If I could, I would give this place no stars.

The E-mein noodles and shrimp dumplings were fantastic. The pork buns were also delicious. I have officially found my new favorite dumpling spot. The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially in helping me to my seat with my crutches and assisting me in leaving the restaurant. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning in the future.

We always make a point to stop at this restaurant when we visit our relatives. My mom really enjoyed the tripe with ginger, and the dim sum was delicious as well!

The dim sum and Chinese food at this restaurant are excellent. The hot and sour soup is particularly delicious.
