This is a local gem. Every local grabs a plate lunch here for breakfast , lunch and dinner. Locations all over the islands. Try the “loco Moco” if you want to eat like the locals do. Their kalua pig and cabbage is also really good. View all feedback.
What Marshapelo doesn't like about L&l Hawaiian Barbecue:
I was deliberately shortchanged by 50 cents. The Fried Fish plate costs $14.50, and I handed her a $20 bill, expecting $5.50 back in change. However, she only gave me $5.00. The receipt indicated that I paid exactly $14.50, rather than $20 with change owed. I didn't notice this until I had left the restaurant. It seems she's been stealing small amounts from customers, which can really add up over time. View all feedback.
Delicious. I was in town for 3 days and was here 3 times. Great location… My favorite here is the BBQ mix with double macaroni.
Did you know L&L was created in 1952 in a small shop in Liliha and the founders Johnson Kam and Eddie Flores, Jr. – introduced their signature, Asian and American fusion take on the classic plate lunch to residents. Today there are over 200 all over the world and Market City is my favorite location.

A very local style eatery. I recommend the BBQ chicken.
