As always, a wonderful dining experience in Chinatown, HNL. Serving seasonal dishes and with an interesting wine/cocktail menu. Love coming here with a small group of friends (also great for a date). View all feedback.
What LeslieH doesn't like about Livestock Tavern:
The wait time for our food was over 45 minutes. Entrees did not all come at the same time. Server was nice but never offered any comment on why it was taking so long and it was hard to get her attention. Restaurant probably understaffed View all feedback.
Excellent service. Food was good, but not really great. I thought there was something missing to make it perfect.
Great resturant with very friendly staff. Drinks took a very long time to come. All of the food was really good except the lobster pasta was a little blend. Meat was amazing and mushroom risotto was very very good.
We dined with some friends when on vacation for dinner. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and decor is modern industrial. We had the octopus starter, steak and salmon. Everything was delicious and I only had one issue. I specifically asked the server if the salmon contained any cream or dairy and was told no but it definitely came out with a ton of it. Overall a nice experience but a bit of attention to detail would have been the cherry on top.
The wedge salad was terrible, the crab cakes were good, the risotto was terrible, the fish entree was undercooked sent back and still undercooked. The crab stuffing was tasteless. I suggest you order the beef dishes as these were very good
We had a lovely Brunch on Easter Sunday; was not crowded. Service was expeditious, friendly and timely. Food was delicious, albeit my benedict eggs weren't runny enough and the hollaindaise sauce was a bit thick, but that's just personal preference. The Build your Own Mimosa option was brilliant
