No pressure on anything and they were willing to chamge a course for my wofe so we could do the tasting menu together. On top of that it was like our own personaldining room with just the two of us looking out onto the ocean from a side room.

The presentation of every dish was so stunning that we hesitated to eat it. The soufflé was the perfect way to end the meal and is not to be missed—well worth the additional charge. The waitstaff were very patient as we took our time deciding what to order, since we couldn’t quite choose. They offered both tasting menus and à la carte options, which was a bit confusing, but we figured it out. *Note: This is a formal restaurant, so gentlemen are expected to wear a collared shirt and jacket or aloha shirt, dress slacks (no jeans or sweatpants), and closed-toe shoes.

Don’t forget to wear dress pants and an aloha shirt or something similar, though they’re happy to help if needed. I believe the chef earned a Michelin star while in France and is well on his way to achieving one here. The portions are smaller, as expected, but the flavors are incredible, and I left feeling satisfied. Definitely worth the experience. Happy birthday, Kerry! Xx
