Cannot go wrong with any of the plates here. Been going since I was a kid. My go tos are chicken katsu, garlic chicken, loco moco, bbq chicken garlic shrimp. I don't think there was anything on the menu i tried that i never like. Chance em!

A mom pop hole in the wall kind of place. Saw it featured on YouTube and decided to try something different that what was shown on YouTube. The cheeseburger deluxe was awesome! The beef patty is homemade, not the frozen beef patties served at most places. It was tasty and the crinkle fries were crispy and hot. Aside from the fries, I ordered the chili cheese fries and wasn 't disappointed. They used REAL cheese melted on the chili cheese fries instead of that nasty fake cheese sauce many places are selling. Another yummy very tasty dish was the Kim chee fried rice. Holy moly! Sure, it cost about $15, but the amount of fried rice became 4 meals. It was just so much and really onolicious! Kalihi BBQ is known for their chicken katsu, but try some of their other menu items. It 's been worth it! We 'll be back as we work our way through their menu.
