D food is good, but THEY NEED TO ADD,MORE WAITRESS.....thanks.

We asked for a two article combo as it says a paper-thay that a two-eitm combi is like $13. We asked if they had sins, because we didn't see them. The worker said sure you can have sine. I said I wanted sine, dinugoan and rice for my two articles combo. Instead, she gave me a large container of sinigang, a large container of Dinugoan and two pots of rice. When we suddenly got into the cash register, the price was $37. Okay, so it's a larger amount of food and it took for two meals, but the two-piece combo is like $13. At this point we had waited like 10 minutes and since it was our first time in the restaurant, we did not know that they gave us the bigger menu item. It also did not seem possible that these containers, when food costs $16 per, plus taxes, and $1 for every scrap of rice. It seems she didn't explain because she wanted me to pay the bigger amount. I don't like the mood of this place. Staff don't seem like they really want your business. They didn't even greet us when we arrived. The food is good, but there are other filipino restaurants that are better.

Aloha; this philipino food is super good. Might be one of the best I have ever had. But I just wish the atmosphere was nicer when you go there. It is defintly old school but now days you have to modernize the place to attract people. But the food is amazing.

Jesse's has the best pan de sal on the island (or at least in Kalihi). Decently sized, nicely brown outside, soft/fluffy inside. There's usually freshly baked pan de sal on Saturdays around 7:30 am. Balintawak is good, popular too.
