We ordered 5 dumplings, but we got only 4. So we asked the server to bring one more dumpling that we ordered. She said, Yes, but we didn 't get it until we made a payment. I think most servers can 't speak English. View all feedback.
What Audrey Dupuis doesn't like about Jade Dynasty Seafood Restaurant:
this place needs a good cleaning. everything feels sticky or greasy. could not drink the tee because the teetasse greasy felt and had a bad (chemical) smell. and 1 teetasse had a tiny dead rach in it! the spoon and the container for the chili sauce were dirty! it was either raw on the spoon, or really old, dried, discolored chili sauce. eating was a bit expensive, but everything seemed to be fresh. we ordered a sorti... My wife and I were shopping at the shopping center ala moana and she really likes dimming. While it was a bit difficult to find the place in the top floor of the shopping center, we sat immediately, although there was a heavy lunch. because of the pandemic they do not roll the normal car over the place to show their dishes, but they have a menu with pictures, short descriptions and checkboxes, so they can mark what they want and how many of each article. as with most restaurants of this type speak and/or do not understand all employees English so they must be patient when they try to communicate what they want or have to ask. Overall, the quality of food was better than most dimming centres we visited, and therefore prices were also higher. while very busy, there are also free parking at the mall. we have the feeling that this place was worth the visit and we will keep this place in the eye for future visits.
This place needs a good cleaning. everything feels sticky or greasy. could not drink the tee because the teetasse greasy felt and had a bad (chemical) smell. and 1 teetasse had a tiny dead rach in it! the spoon and the container for the chili sauce were dirty! it was either raw on the spoon, or really old, dried, discolored chili sauce. eating was a bit expensive, but everything seemed to be fresh. we ordered a sortiment of Dim-Summe articles, and in contrast to other places they seem to make items hot and fresh when they order it. the sorte was good, so if they gave everything a thorough cleaning, they would get at least 1, maybe 2 more stars.
The food was good. Not great but definitely good. I would go again as almost everything was delicious. The issue was it took 30mins to get the first part of dim sum out to me. Another couple showed up after me, got their food, ate their food, and was paying by the time I got the first thing I ordered. It was incredibly busy so that may have been the issue. Again, I would go again.
Another one of the Asian restaurants we tried in Honolulu. This place is massive with plenty of seating with even private alcoves. The menu is extensive with a wide variety of choices. This place is perfect for large groups. The food was typical, delicious, and generous. the bar was equipped for any type of cocktail or drink. The prices were very reasonable . The atmosphere was a bit noisy like a cafeteria. There were private side booths which made it more romantic. the seafood was exceptional, try the crab or the lobster, very fresh right out of the tank. The only minor problem were the waiters which had a little difficulty with the English language besides that friendly and helpful.
Dishes were pathetic and salty. Wouldn’t recommend it for dinner other than dim sum.
