Although I enjoy the meatball subs the most, all the options are tempting. I even had a conversation with Ike himself recently and he mentioned that more vegan choices are coming soon.

This food court stands out from your typical mall food courts and is a nice enough spot to take a date. The sandwiches range from $10 to $12 and come with three different bread choices. The Famous Dutch bread is highly recommended. We tried the Lenekea and Meatless Ikes (meatball sub) sandwiches, and both were flavorful and delicious. They offer vegan options by replacing cheese with a special sauce, a type of "dirty aioli" made with vegan mayo. All of their breads are vegan (sourdough, Dutch, and whole wheat) and the staff is both knowledgeable and friendly. There are about 5 vegan sandwich options available. Overall, Ikes is definitely worth a visit for lunch and is relatively affordable.

I also ordered the Laniakea (teriyaki vegan chicken) with vegan mayo. You can add lettuce, tomato, onion, or pickle to any sandwich. I was very grateful for the plant-based meat options, but it's Ike's world famous bread that truly sets this sandwich apart!
