I had a fantastic Friday evening filled with wonderful company, delicious food, and unforgettable entertainment. Sitting by the ocean was truly uplifting. I ordered the opakapaka with baby bok choy, which was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. What Salvina Lakhani doesn't like about House Without A Key:
August was very busy so we had to reserve a spot a week in advance. Once you arrive you are seated depending on whether you want drinks small bites or dinner. The musicians were entertaining and the garden overlooking the water is serene. Food is pretty and mostly tasty but the wings looked undercooked (beige) and the coconut shrimp were cold. This upscale restaurant in the Waikiki area has a wonderful ambiance. I truly enjoyed the live singing and dancing by the beach; it really enhanced the vibe. The food was fantastic as well. We ordered Hibachi Chicken and pizza, both of which were delicious. They also provide complimentary bread that was excellent. And I can't forget to mention the coconut cake – it was absolutely incredible and a must-try if you're dining here. The staff was very friendly too. I will definitely be returning soon!
In the House and Key, the team was incredibly welcoming and helpful. We kicked off our meal with an appetizer of loaded fries (I can't recall the exact name), which were both unique and delicious. For my main course, I had the crab sandwich paired with a salad. The crab sandwich was absolutely packed with succulent king crab! It was truly a delightful experience.
We dined here on our final night at the hotel, and it was the perfect way to end our wonderful stay. Be sure to make a reservation, as seating is limited. Casual attire is welcome. The food, service, and live music were all fantastic. My wife highly recommends the drink called The Sunset. It wasn't on the menu we received, but a server suggested it, and she absolutely loved it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would love to return!
Everything was perfect in House without a Key. From the views, live music/entertainment, service, and food--they sure know what they're doing. Make sure to make reservations a few days/weeks ahead! Our server Ian, was great! He gave recommendations and was so attentive to us, he made our night. Absolutely the best. The food and our server Joe were absolutely amazing. The living band set such a joyful mood and being able to watch the beautiful sunset in the setting. Priceless. Highly highly recommend coming here. Went with my boyfriend and it was a very special evening for us
