Coffee was very good. The 6 kitties available for adoption were all unique. The little kitten was very adorable. A young adolescent female kitty was alert and playful the whole time. You need to make an appointment to schedule your 1 hour visit. It was tricky to find the entrance to the cat cafe. What Keli Griffin doesn't like about Hawaii Cat Cafe:
Excellent service but I found this place somewhat sad. Some people were not following the rules of not waking up the cats and they should have been kicked out. I did not feel like there were enough cats to people ratio and so the cats were getting more attention then cats usually enjoy. Coffee was not great either. View all feedback.
It was very easy to make an online reservation for an hour of playtime with cats at 11 AM. The cost was $21 for guests aged 6 and older and $17 for those 5 and under. A waiver must be signed before interacting with the cats. Once your time is up, a buzzer will notify you that it's time to leave. You are allowed to eat and drink in the cat area, which features 15 cats and plenty of space to play and pet them. There is one restroom available and three parking spots. The entrance is on the gas station side of the building, and they also sell cat cafe merchandise. The atmosphere is pleasant, and there were no unpleasant odors. As for kid-friendliness, children are welcome as long as they are supervised by an adult.
The service was excellent, but I found the atmosphere a bit lacking. Some guests were not adhering to the rule of not disturbing the cats, and I believe they should have been asked to leave. The ratio of cats to people felt off, which meant the cats were receiving more attention than they typically would. Additionally, the coffee wasn’t up to par either.
Such a delightful spot! We were searching for something to do and discovered the perfect place. The drinks were fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly!
This is a delightful cat café. The drinks and pastries were quite tasty. While playing with the cats costs $20, it’s a fun experience. They have plenty of kittens to enjoy, as well as some adult cats. One remarkable aspect is that in their four years of operation, they have successfully adopted out over 2,800 cats.
What a charming spot! The cats here are incredibly friendly, although some can be a bit shy. It tends to get busy, so I recommend arriving earlier—I visited around 5 PM, close to the 7 PM closing time. We spent an hour there, with about half an hour waiting and the other half enjoying time with the cats. It was absolutely worth the wait! Most of the cats were napping during that time, but they were still incredibly adorable.
