Great food, but not at a good price. My favourite item is there Garlic Chicken but beware its on the Hilton Hawaiian Village property, so expect double for what you get in a restaurant outside the accommodation. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hatsuhana Hawaii:
Hatsuana was once a top sushi restaurant offering Japanese and English breakfast, artistic sushi and excellent dinners. Since covid, the food and the service have declined. It was once my go-to place in the Hawaiian Village, but I will take a pass to see if it recovers. There is no longer breakfast and lunch is more often combo offerings. View all feedback.
The food was exceptional! The staff was incredibly attentive and courteous. They genuinely seemed to care about our enjoyment of the meal and did everything possible to ensure it was fantastic. I would choose this restaurant over many of the Japanese places back home. I can't wait for my next visit!
The food here is delicious and indulgent. I wish I had discovered this place earlier during my time in Honolulu. The portions are generous, and you will definitely enjoy every bite. I highly recommend it!
The tuna roll and tempura were excellent. Excellent draft beer as well.
My wife had salmon and she'd give it 5 stars. I had butterfish and we both liked it even more than the salmon. But I would've liked a bigger portion and also more variety of cooked fish. They do have sushi so that's some additional variety. We also had a rainbow roll which was well made. I'd actually call it 4.5 stars. Probably the best value in the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
I ordered the Ahí Tuna Katsu, and it was fantastic! The crust was perfectly crunchy, and the fish was cooked just right. The meal also came with a salad, miso soup, rice, and seaweed, all of which were absolutely delicious. They serve Asahi on draft in a chilled glass, which added to the experience. I definitely plan to return on my next visit to the island!
