The new location has many free parking and has all favorites on the menu. we had to share the Hawaiian pancake, yummy haupia sauce and it is not too sweet. strawberry shortcake pancakes had some tartness to cut the sweet one. the tiramisu pancakes are a little sweeter. also had omelettes popeye and crab, which tasty and fill. love the salat dressing for the mixed greens that comes with the Omelette dishes. we are so glad that the new location will finally be opened and returned. the staff is friendly and this is a great place for a casual brunch!
Heard lots of great things about Egghead and glad it was my first place to eat out since the pandemic restrictions. Great and friendly service to go along with delicious food. We shared the triple pancake sample and it was delish! Breakfast choices were diverse and all sounded so good. Definitely recommend and will be returning! Thank you Egghead Café!
The food at this restaurant was delicious, but there were some issues with timing. Our dishes were brought out at different times, leading to my daughter only receiving her pancake after the rest of us had finished eating. It seemed like they may be serving food as it's ready, possibly due to COVID restrictions, which was a bit strange. The specialty pancakes were nothing special and could benefit from having their sauces warmed up or served at room temperature. It was disappointing to have cold pancakes due to the cold syrup being poured on top and left to sit. On a positive note, my older daughter did enjoy the acai bowl.
This was an out of nowhere visit. We were hungry, wife and kids couldn’t decide on a place and I decided for this one. Drove there and it was the best decision we had made since we stepped into Hawaii. So much so that it has been back to back visits forus. Food is delicious and service is even better. To put things into perspective, we ate at IHOP, a family of 4 for $100, we atehere same family of 4 for $65. Not comparing the two because there’s no comparison to be made. Quality of food, taste of foodand service will run laps around IHOP. Give the a check even if you have to drive an hour to get here, they’re that great.
This is my new favorite place for breakfast! Everything in the menu looks delicious and I always want to come back to try something new. Right now my favorite is the pork belly Benedict, the pork is delicious! Service is good for the most part, mymain concern is that the food appears to never come at the same time regardless of how many people are on the table. Once wewaited forever for one of the meals, they may have forgotten, but the server apologized and offered some discount on that. Istill give them 5 stars as they were proactive to minimize the problem before we even said anything.
