Doraku Sushi Kaka'ako - Honolulu

If I could dine here every day, I absolutely would! The ambiance is great and the food is delightful. The service can be inconsistent, though. My favorite experience was when the bartender noticed I was drinking my lychee martini a bit too quickly, and for the next round, he made it a little stronger—definitely a pleasant surprise! On the other hand, my least favorite moment was when I slipped on a wet spot and fell... and this was before any happy hour drinks had even started! But honestly, I can't complain too much because the food was fantastic, and my lychee martini helped me forget about my bruised… well, let's say ego. I’m taking off one star because I think the tables could be cleaned more thoroughly; they felt a bit sticky.

The sushi here is fantastic! I would give it five stars if the menu included more spicy options, like spicy tuna, spicy mixed rolls, and spicy pork. Otherwise, it's excellent, but...

This is a lively spot with a great atmosphere. If you enjoy sushi and need a place to grab a bite before heading to an event at the Blaisdell, this could be a perfect option. Just walking in...

Doraku has consistently provided me with a great experience, especially during their happy hour when prices are very reasonable! Their happy hour runs from 4 PM to 6 PM and then again from 9 PM until closing, offering excellent deals...
