The food was great. I enjoyed the sushi, but the yakitori stole the show for me.
The sushi quality is phenomenal. The tuna tasted smooth and buttery. Heavenly. If you care about fish quality, this is the place. I had to leave a review saying that. Service was very attentive and kind. They brought out ice cream for my birthday I WILL fly all the way back just to try this sushi again. Also I love the shirts the workers wear.
This was probably the best sushi I have had in my entire life! I highly recommend checking them out!
Chiba-Ken kind of has a “hole in the wall” vibe, understated and good food! Sitting on the edge of Waikiki, this little restaurant has been around for awhile. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki and offers a wide array of authentic Japanese dishes. The Tonkatsu and the Pork Belly Yakitori were on point and dishes I would recommend. Service was exceptional, super friendly to my twin boys, and attentive. Overall, a great no frills Japanese restaurant!
Oh my goodness. Went here on a whim because we felt like something lite for dinner. Ended up getting a seven piece sashimi omakase. So so good it was like butter. So fresh. Super attentive and prompt service. Sapporo on tap. And super friendly. Loved it and would highly recommend.
