Chef Chai's restaurant has been a staple in Hawaii for many decades. His food is not only pretty for photos, but most importantly, delicious. I would highly recommend the wrapped prawns in the appetizer sampler they were absolutely heavenly. If they have the full fried fish on the day you are there, I would definitely recommend ordering it without hesitation. Chef Chai's wait staff are elegant and incredibly knowledgeable they really added to the dining experience.
Great food and cocktails. The bonus $6 valet parking was amazing. So reasonable and convenient. The waiter was knowledgeable of the menu and able to speak on all items ingredient and flavors. Crab cakes and smoked duck taco appetizer were great. The filet was melt in your mouth. Definitely recommend you check this place out.
What a wonderful dining experience! After a long day of traveling, we wanted only to relax and have some nice food, and Chef Chai certainly delivered. The appetizer sampler is perfect for two, with the foie gras mousse being a true highlight. The menu also features a variety of dishes showcasing high quality seafood and delicate fusion flavors. We settled on the scallops and oxtail soup, which were both very satisfying. I recommend this restaurant for a classy and
We picked this restaurant as our gourmet meal in Oahu (we mostly toured the island). Food was good but there was 3 main issues : Service was not up to par for the price paid Appetizers were tiny! My mom even thought it was the Amuse Bouches. therewere 2 large groups and one had a huge table that was square. Not very classy!
Amazing atmosphere and location. You must pay to park so bring cash for the valet. The food was very interesting as a fusion Asian twist on traditional dishes. Me and my wife celebrated our anniversary here and would love to come back. Also the ducktacos are the best appetizer I have had in a long time.
