This is one of the best local breweries I have ever visited. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. Despite being a brewery, they also have a menu for kids. Their selection of beers, ranging from Blondes to IPAs, was excellent. I highly recommend trying the Poke Nachos and the Bacon Fondue Fries. Additionally, they have a small gift shop where you can purchase mugs, hats, shirts, etc. View all feedback.
What Nick Kalfopoulos (The Military Traveler) doesn't like about Aloha Beer Company:
Aloha is a decent spot for beer type grindz. Some unique flavors on tap, and the pizza is decent, but left a bit underwhelmed with both. Also order was gotten wrong that resulted in extra pizza we didn't need.. but it was alright. Pet friendly and managed parking. Worth a stop by. View all feedback.
Most other breweries of o’ahu have better beer and eat, but aloha has a great atmosphere and generally a younger scene. the service can be mixed and eat is hit or miss. their beers are good, but I wish they had more variety or limited releases. this is a place to go with friends on a Friday night. the beer garden is preferred, but when it rains, it will become wet. Finally, the parking situation is not great— I don't want to pay for a valet. there are limited street parking spaces in the opposite, otherwise they take one and drink more beer. prost!
The big outside area is really nice. Every beer we tried was delicious and the Bavarian pretzel really hit the spot. Definitely will be making our way back over sometime soon.
Stopped in on Taco Tuesday. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. It was pretty busy but there were spots outdoors for us. We were brought water while we looked at the menu options. I ordered the Aloha flight (aloha blonde, Jefe-Weisen, fruit-lupes, and portlock lorter. And my husband who loves his lighter beer, ordered the Aloha Blonde. We decided on the taco sampler since it was taco Tuesday and it was $8 for three tacos, also ordered guac and chips and the cauliflower wings. The cauliflower came right away and was very hot. It was served with barbecue and ranch and was grilled perfectly tender with a little crispness. It was very good. The tacos came soon afterwards and looked very good, but when we dug in, the chicken taco was very greasy (although flavorful), the carne asada steak was very tough and had little flavor (actually so tough we chewed forever to swallow it), and the barbacoa was a little spicy but good. I wouldn’t go out if my way for the tacos or the chips and guacamole (a very small serving of guac for a plate of chips). They actually forgot the guac and chips and after we had finished with everything else and asked, they were brought out. Overall, the beer was good and the cauliflower as well skip the rest. They have other options on the menu maybe better Choices. Being in a beer garden atmosphere outside was nice on this evening and dogs are welcome if that is something you look for. Cost was around $60 for the food and beer round a bit steep for not great food, but the beer saved the night.
Aloha Beer Co. on our personal tour of the breweries around Honolulu, we landed here. The atmosphere and the location of this brewery is very ideal. They’re outdoor patio which is where we enjoyed our beers was very nicely shaded. My 2 favorite beers out of the ones I had were definitely the Jefe Weizen which had a great punch of banana and their Froot Lupes which was a delicious IPA which punched a great tropical fruit flavor.
Ordered the fish and chips which were dark almost burnt. I am pretty certain that the oil hasn't been changed for a while. The chips were unseasoned, mind you, not underseasoned, but Unseasoned.Ordered basic dry rubbed wings (does salt and pepper constitute a dry rub The wings, like the fish and chips came out dark and very dry. There were two saving graces1. The beer was ok2. The waffle fries are ok
