I attended the Holualoa Coffee Stroll on Saturday, November 4, 2023. I picked up some reasonably priced lemons and lulos. I had a nice conversation with Bruce, who kindly gave me some lulo seeds that I plan to share with my neighbor, who has a knack for gardening. Bruce mentioned that lulos belong to the nightshade family, so I should grow them like tomatoes.
As a coffee enthusiast, my visit here was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip. Bruce was an amazing guide, detailing every aspect of the coffee lifecycle. We even had the chance to try roasting ourselves! He answered all our questions and made us feel truly welcome. We left with a newfound sense of coffee knowledge! Just kidding, but it was definitely a rewarding and educational experience. Thank you, Bruce!
Rancho Aloha was one of our top highlights from our trip to Hawaii! Bruce was very knowledgeable and passionate to tell us all about Kona coffee. We arrived to the top of their property, where Bruce came out to greet us we took a walk through his farm, during which he shared with us the process and his history with coffee. From there, we sat down to drink some delicious coffee, and chat a bit more ending with making our own roast to take home. Would highly recommend, such a special little stop on our visit.
I had a fantastic experience with Bruce, who guided me through the details of the exquisite 100% Kona coffee.
