Our favorite place on the island, went 3x in a week. It's 15 mins straight up the hill from Kona, but the staff, coffee, and big back patio view are absolutely perfect. Bring a book! View all feedback.
We were given an explanation about the farm. There was a Japanese person there. It is a tip system.
Visited on Monday morning. They will explain it to you in Japanese and let you sample it. Eat in and get an affogato and iced coffee to take out on the way home. All delicious. The iced coffee was made by freezing iced coffee, and the flavor was strong and delicious until the end. Almost no sourness. Due to geographical factors, the weather is bad in the afternoon, so it's best to go in the morning.
The staff here can help you in Japanese. The taste of coffee is completely different from the UCC you drink in Japan.
Great Afogoto. Ice cream is made from their coffee beans by a local company. It is only available at UCC coffee farm on the Big Island.
All staff are friendly I had high expectations because it is a famous coffee in Japan. It has a unique flavor Affokato is really delicious
