Most importantly, make sure you specify EXACTLY what room y... read more We had a very good stay at Hotel Alemannenhof but can only recommend the Hotel with the odd proviso! Most importantly, make sure you specify EXACTLY what room you will get as not all rooms have been renovated. Those that have been are truly nice, those that aren't truly are NOT!!! Please note that the price of the room is in no way indicative of the state of the room. The Restaurant is fine and the service is very good and child-friendly. The most attractive feature is the hotel's position right on the lake Titisee which is enviable and worthwhile during the summer season. However if you are travelling offseason and swimming in the lake is not necessarily a priority, I suggest you shop around if you can't get one of the new rooms!

For €50 per person one could expect a bit finer prepared food. Service during dinner seemed to struggle a bit, although always friendly and helpful - but sometimes it took a long time before food and drinks were served.

After a beautiful long weekend in Freiburg and in alsace we drove on the way back to the airport stuttgart through the southern black forest. it was a great, su... read more After a beautiful long weekend in Freiburg and in alsace we drove on the way back to the airport stuttgart through the southern black forest. it was a great, sunny late summer day. the afternoon we passed the titise, but we arrived at the place a little wrong. without rolling. then we drove out of the place along the lake and came through the alemannenhof with its beautiful view of the lake. wonderfully quietly situated with a beautiful, wind-protected terrace where they can sit, radiates the sun in the face and the soul could be pampered. the service was very friendly, flink and attentive. the prices slightly increased. but quite honestly: this great person was worth the 5 euro, everything we felt paid more per person. we had wonderfully light cheese with fresh garden herbs that have just tasted fantastic. above all because they don't know as fat-triefing and bappy as they've been. I think they made them fresh cheese? no warning, at least we had no keseklumpen after that. we had perfect fit and also recommend the gooddel out of the barrel. only milk coffee after that was not really hot, but this is also my only point of criticism. the hotel, which I can not judge as a lunch guest, but the restaurant with its beautiful terrace gets from me the full 5 stars!
