Cold potatoes and vegetables, the tuna was overcooked. The salmon was supermarket quality. Everything was also very pricey by Albanian standards. The one waiter was disinterested, had little patience and was not very friendly. The young waiter was nicer. In addition, in an atmospheric location with begging cats at your table. The only nice thing was the free aperitif after dinner. Worst restaurant we have been to in Albania. We came here to celebrate a birthday.. I have visited thousands of restaurants by now and never have I ever felt so mistreated by a waiter as I felt here. He was so but so very rude and at some point he was treating my mother as if she were dumb just because she could not understand the waiter so well due to both parties English, nor my mother nor the waiter spoke good English, which is fine we are in Albania, under no reason whatsoever we expect people to speak perfect English. Not only was the waiter incredibly rude but the restaurant itself didn 't have half the menu available, no shrimps, no fish fillet and like 6 other types of fish were not available. So my mother ordered a tuna filet with baby potatoes, at some point it got lost in translation that there weren 't baby potatoes so almost 45 minutes later after we ordered the food came and the tuna fillet came without baby potatoes, we asked the second waiter (who is a really young and friendly man that spoke one or two word of english) about the potatoes and as he didn 't understand us he brought the incredibly rude waiter and he came to us walking like he owned the air we all breathe with such an incredibly rude attitude and even ruder tone of voice and told us: I TOLD YOU WE DON 'T HAVE BABY POTATOES and takes the plate back to the kitchen.. we just wanted him to bring a side of potatoes so we called him back and he 's like WHAT DO YOU WANT? seriously almost yelling at us, as we were 3 people and the others had started eating we didn 't leave.. so we said okay we didn 't understand when you said there weren 't baby potatoes we 'd like to have the food back and he brought it 10 minutes later, same dish... A place that I discovered by chance and it left me speechless. Abundant and delicious dishes at a great price. Fantastic service. A must visit place if you go to Himare. I would suggest anyone to buy the homemade liqueur that they prepare themselves, simply a miracle. Lefteri's Tavern. Seafood restaurant located on the street behind the Himare promenade. Place with good seafood products, we were able to try a mix of battered seafood, grilled octopus and some tagliatelle with seafood. For dessert, a very good tiramisu. Nice place, good food but also high price for Albania in general. Himare in general has higher prices than the rest of the areas. Approximately 20-25 per person.
