What Cherryboy1 doesn't like about J. Lawrie Sons Jaffys':
Honestly, I could spend a lot of time writing this review. I paid £9 for a portion of fish and chips, which I was willing to pay due to the restaurant's proximity to the sea. The fish was of good quality, but the batter was unappetizing. I'll let the photo speak for itself. I won't be returning to this place. It's up to you where you choose to spend your money, but this restaurant is not for me. View all feedback. What hairdy likes about J. Lawrie Sons Jaffys':
By concidence I called in just before Jacobite was due, so managed to get a rare seat and enjoy the mayhem of everybody coming in off the train. Prices a bit steep I would say but was very tasty. I was disappointed they didn't have their delicious kippers, told you can get them online, not the same..!! View all feedback.

While experiences vary, many patrons rave about the crispy, delicious fish and chips, highlighting its flavor and perfect texture. However, some visitors express disappointment, citing greasy offerings and inconsistent service. Despite occasional long wait times and mixed reviews on side dishes, the charm of this eatery persists, making it a notable stop for those exploring the area. With both loyal fans and critical diners, Jaffys continues to navigate its way through the bustling tourism tide.
