We absolutely love the seafood here and make it a point to visit every time we're in Scotland. The service is excellent and very friendly. It truly makes it hard to consider dining anywhere else. Service: 5, Location: 5.
The host greeted us warmly, and even though our stay was brief, we felt very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. The ferry and train station are conveniently close, and parking is within walking distance. Nearby activities include the ferry. Overall, I would rate the rooms 4/5, service 4/5, and location 5/5. Hotel highlights include a great view, family-friendly atmosphere, and excellent value.
I visited this restaurant to inquire about gluten-free options and was pleased to discover that many of their starters are indeed gluten-free. They even have a separate fryer for the chips and were open to suggesting modifications for a couple of dishes to accommodate my needs. I decided on the oven-baked haddock served with baby potatoes and vegetables. It was fresh and absolutely delicious. The staff were very helpful and well-informed about my dietary concerns, taking the time to communicate with the kitchen to avoid any misunderstandings. Overall, it’s a lovely place, and I would definitely recommend it!
Excellent restaurant with few dishes but all delicious. The fish and potato soup is delicious, the fish of the day is also excellent. The dessert is delicious. A beautiful discovery
