I was raised in the north of England and have been living in London for over 15 years. It comes as no surprise that I have struggled to find a fish and chip shop in the south that can compare to the many excellent options available in the north.

Harrington's is a seafood restaurant that offers both takeout and seating for around 25 people. They offer a diverse selection of fresh fish, prepared in batter, matza meal, or grilled. The food is tasty and the service is friendly and efficient. The restaurant is fully licensed.

We had a wonderful fish and chip supper at this restaurant. I had haddock, while my partner had prawn cocktail and plaice with mushy peas. The food was beautifully cooked and we enjoyed a nice bottle of rose with our meal. However, we were a bit surprised to find out that the restaurant only accepted cash payment when it came time to pay. Just a heads up to future diners, as we had to quickly find an ATM to settle the bill.

The food is very good. The wine list contains one red and 4 reds. The service was not so good. It is clear that until the restaurant is as high priority as the take away, this will continue.
