I cannot recommend this pub restaurant highly enough. The food was freshly cooked service was amazing, we were a party of 5 and the dog! All staff were very helpful, cheerful genuinely couldn’t do enough for you. They even have a dog menu bowls of water for your furry friends. I met up with friends at the Battle Axes for lunch and, as always, it was a delightful experience. We received a warm welcome from Amanda upon arrival. The restaurant had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and we were promptly seated at our table. Our drinks were served promptly and our orders were taken efficiently. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, as well as the coffees and mini desserts that followed. Thank you to Alex for taking care of us during our visit. We hope to return again soon. It's always a pleasure to come back to such a friendly and welcoming pub. Many thanks to Amanda for a great experience.
Karen and her team were excellent. The Christmas Day dinner was served promptly and exactly as advertised. The meal was delicious and served hot. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. They went above and beyond for us. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning next year. Thanks for creating such unforgettable memories. I would give it a 10 out of 10 if I could.
