The rest... read more I met up with friends at the Battle Axes for lunch and, as always, it was a delightful experience. We received a warm welcome from Amanda upon arrival. The restaurant had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and we were promptly seated at our table. Our drinks were served promptly and our orders were taken efficiently. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals, as well as the coffees and mini desserts that followed. Thank you to Alex for taking care of us during our visit. We hope to return again soon. It's always a pleasure to come back to such a friendly and welcoming pub. Many thanks to Amanda for a great experience.

The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was lovely. They went above and beyond for us. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning next year.
