What Kimie James doesn't like about Franco's Italian:
The food was delightful but we were all scratching our heads at the size of our appetizer. For $12, it was LIGHT (albeit delish). We double checked with the witness that in fact, what we ordered/was brought to us was a full serving. If it wad going to be that small, they would have plated it differently to at least make it look big. Maybe they ran out, maybe the cook was new, I legit don't think any resturaunt would... Made a large order at Franco’s while staying at a local hotel otw back from Charlotte heading to my parents in NY. I was pleasantly impressed and greatly satisfied! Every single dish was delish with the lasagna being a clear standout. I spent upwards of $125 and was immensely happy spending that amount which is usually not the case from a pizzeria. Nice place with good food and friendly service. Great for take-out pizza also.
Have been looking for a good pizza since moving to Richmond and Franco's nailed it. Small pizza was plenty for one person.
The meatballs were unappetizing on the Pepperoni and meatball sub
