Friendly welcome, pleasant atmosphere, intimate surroundings, delicious food, attentive service! Best Italian we have ever had. Refreshingly different from chain establishments personal service with pleasant conversation family business that prides itself on quality ingredients, authentic cooking and superb service. Love Italian so gave Giuseppes a try and afraid not impressed. Food not bad but the ambience was way of the mark needs a big kick up the backside. When we got home all clothes had to be put straight in the washing machine as we stank of greasy cooking. View all feedback.
Unfortunately there are not many restaurants in Cornwall that serve really good quality food. Giuseppes was a very pleasant surprise – the staff were lovely, the food was super tasty (amazing raviolli), good portions and reasonably priced. Go check them out!
Have passed this restaurant so many times and not eaten here, tonight however it was my choice on where to eat so ‘Guiseppes’ it was (the husband isn’t a massive Italian food fan). Best choice ever.......that is all (and he agreed)!!
We came here after a day at the beach and wanted a quick meal before traveling home. When we arrived we were really hungry so we were very happy to find breadsticks on our table- this was a nice touch. The woman working at the bar was very friendly and chatted to us about our day and recommend places to visit in St Ives. The food arrived quickly and was very tasty- the pasta was cooked perfectly and the pizza was a big hit too! Giuseppes is a small restaurant and didn’t seem very busy, it deserves more customers. I would definitely recommend eating here!
We visited the restaurant whilst staying in the area. The food was great and freshly cooked always a bonus. The portion sizes were very ample. Thank goodness we choose to share our starter. the Pasta Scallope was to die for. Great Job with excellent service.
9 of us ate there for a birthday meal and I must say i was so impressed , I've lived in helston 9 years and this is the first time I've tried it , would highly recommend
