What green08098 doesn't like about Poldhu Beach Cafe:
As a long time fan of the cafe we came away feeling really ripped off today. Tiny portions of seriously overpriced and poor quality frozen chips, no flavour and full of oil. Priced at what you’d pay for decent quality hand cut chips in a pub or restaurant but just the worst example of chips I’ve eaten for years. Please don’t start to rip people off with food that I cannot believe you could possibly feel proud to serv... View all feedback.
Great little cafe serving amazing range of food and drinks. Open an impressive 363 days a year!! Perfect as you walk along the coastal path for a break.
A lovely gem of a corner of Cornwall. A regular for myself and the family to take the dog in the winter months and have lazy beach days in the summer. Great cafe offering a range of yummy hot and cold treats. Open everyday! Pizza night on a Friday is great with live music. Breakfast, lunch and fancy hot chocolates! From a local who visits very regularly it’s great to visit whatever the weather.
In the morning a small beach hike and then a real full-british breakfast, also vegetarian possible. Super coffee, very nice people. Pleasure with sea view, directly on the beach.

We found this smashing cafe on our way to the holiday cottage we had booked. What a find. The staff are so lovely and friendly and the food they serve is fabulous. OK its not haute cuisine but who can complain about the generous portions of yummy chips all golden and crispy on the outside and all lovely and floury on the inside, the miriad of locally produced flapjacks and bakes, and the the spicy and warming soup. Then saving the best for last we stopped off before we headed home for the bestest veggie patty in a bun ever. The cafe is practically on the beach and of course doggie friendly. Thank you to all you lovely people at Poldu beach cafe. We have booked the same cottage for this time next year so we can enjoy visiting you again. Can't wait.
