They made a fuss of our dogs and brought them water. The food was excellent and so fresh! I had the burger which was delicious and I was stuffed afterwards. The bar area was quite calm,... read more We visited Henlys during our holiday in Cornwall on a Tuesday evening, when they had a special deal—two basket meals for just £12. The bar area was quite calm, and the owner made us feel very welcome. They offered a nice selection of Cornish beers and ciders; I opted for a pint of Korev, while my wife picked a large glass of white wine. For our meals, I had the chicken wings and my wife chose the chicken strips, both of which were basket meals. Our son went for the baked cod from the specials menu. All three meals were delicious. For dessert, my son enjoyed a chocolate fondant, and I had an excellent lemon tart. We enjoyed our experience so much that we decided to make a reservation for the following evening to try the two steaks for £50 (I'll share my thoughts on that later).

The food was perfect and our st... read more Booked into Henley’s last minute, and what a pleasure it was. Service was brilliant and our host, Emma (I think), was fantastic. The food was perfect and our steak was probably one the best we’ve had. Cooked to perfection (it’s amazing how many get a simple steak cooked right so so wrong) but not here, absolute perfection. Best meal we have had all week in Cornwall! We will be back next year Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
