Pizzando - Healdsburg

I visited Saturday afternoon. The restaurant is small but has a beautiful interior with large windows. I tried the vegan pizza and a white bean soup, which was a special of the day, without the cheese with which it usually came. Flavors were good, but the food could have been cooked better. The pizza crust was so thin in the middle that there was actually a hole in the middle where it was only to beat. In the soup, the beans were undercooked. The flavors were good enough that I would like to come back.

There wasn't much in town for vegan food. We looked at many menus in the windows and chose this place. The server was friendly and knew what was vegan. We had both pizzas and share a salad. Really good Came here 1/5/2020 and they have added a real vegan pizza to the menu! It's called Vegan Mix. I added a picture of him and ingredients for him.

I take off a star because the restaurant has no vegan cheese on pizza and no marked vegan option. The pizza without cheese was tasteful, along with salad and roasted artichokes. The staff was friendly when asked to create vegan pizza, although not listed in the menu

In a city many vegan options were missing at all, this place came to salvation. Step one: Order the Margherita pizza without cheese. Step two: ask to add mushrooms, onions, arugula, paprika etc. Step three: let it dry in truffle oil. Best vegan pizza I've eaten for a long time

Small care in the end product. A seasonal peach pizza that could have been promising. The amount of cheese on the pizza was very unnecessary - the ingredients themselves would have glowed with some attention and care. The Brussel shoots were drowned in Sherry vinegar; another detail that could have been managed and led to a better end product. Service was great.
