Service was awesome. The atmosphere was nice. And the food was amazing. We had the new York strip and baked Alaska. Burg are highly recommended.
Went to dinner here for the last night of a bachelorette party weekend, on a Sunday. Highly highly recommend making a reservation at least a week in advance, even for a Sunday it was a bit busy. We sat out on their back patio, dogs were allowed, and also brought our own bottles of wine (2 bottles) for a $15-20 corking fee (I can’t quite remember). The staff were veryprofessional and personable! Since it was Sunday, the restaurant has a “Seafood Sunday” special, which is what I ordered. Ithad the option of oysters or a vegetable salad as an appetizer, Salmon Wellington as the main, and a choice of dessert fromtheir dessert menu. Great spread for the price! I ended up going with the veggie salad for my appetizer and the lemon cheesecakefor dessert. Overall a great experience and delicious food. Another fun note, they have a mixed gender restroom. Both male andfemale stalls, which doors from floor to ceiling, and then shared sink. I’d never seen a restroom like that before and thoughtit was pretty cool!
I'm a local, and hadn't eaten here in years. But the wife and I revisted on a Sun night in July 2022 and were blown away. Amazing vinegrett on the salad, AMAZING lobster ravioli with the sauces, etc. Brandon and Reid took great care of us. Highlyrecommended. Note: I went back to the bar later sans wife and had a 1 star experience. Bartender was a woman like 19. She hadno knowledge of red wine or gin, was pisssed off when I thought one red wine by the glass had been opened several days ago (I'min the biz, I know, . Skip the bar, dine on a Sunday night, stellar.
Spoonbar set up their communal table for twenty-two for our Knights of the Vine dinner last evening, and it was fabulous. Even though the table is long, it was very social and inclusive. The service was simply amazing. Everyone got the exact meal theyordered and the courses came out hot and at the same time. I still don’t know how they did it. All three courses were justwonderful. We took a poll among the diners and got 5 stars out of 5 from everyone there, and many said we should make it anannual event. Spoonbar, you are a hit with Knights of the Vine.
It has been a while since I last visited and it was hopping this time, which was great to see. The food has changed a lot as well, and I think for the better. Portion sizes have grown as well, and the flavors are fabulous. We had the three dip started (huge) and tasty, the asparagus again tasty and perfectly cooked, and finally the branzino that was perfect. Take all of that with the super cocktails they make here and all in all you have a great dinner.
