The building, once a leading Australian wool warehouse in the 1890s, now offers seating for 80 guests in a casual atmosphere. Enjoy daily specials and a wide selection of Australian and international beverages at the bar. Shipley's is the perfect place to relax with friends, family, or colleagues over a drink or a cup of coffee. Join us for our buffet breakfast daily from 6:30am to 10:30am, and buffet dinner on Fridays and Saturdays from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.

Stayed in Sydney for the Vivid light festival so came here for breakfast. Selection was great with a wide ethnic choice for all. Salads, cold meats, continental, eggs, bacon , sausages (veal were fantastic) juices, breads and pastries. Seated quickly and asked if we would like coffee. We then went to the buffet selection. Breakfast service was below average. Food quality and variety was limited. Had a terrible experience with hotel staff /breakfast duty manager, Salela who was not customer centric, non-accommodating towards Asian guests. It leaves a poor impression that the hotel and cafe practices discrimination towards Asian guests. Generally, they treat locals much better and offer prompt services towards them at all times. The staff is polite and attentive. The seafood is fresh and delicious. All dishes were flavorful and beautifully plated.

The steak at this restaurant is excellent.
The service was good... our server was very nice and helpful. We were not willing to pay the high price for the whole buffet and instead had the continental. That filled our hunger, but it was nothing special. If we stay at the hotel again, we use this restaurant for breakfast. However, we found some better alternatives for those who are ready to go a short way to work an appetite.
