The liquor does have something missing but when you soa... read more Haven't had pie mash for at least 30 years, I had good expectations to honest it was quite good quality. The liquor does have something missing but when you soak it in vinegar you cant tell any way. don't think they put butter in the mash like Kelly's used to but it tasted proper mash al be it a little lumpy. Décor in the restaurant was a little dark dated for me no menus at the table, you have to go order pay at the counter which seemed strange.My wife had haddock chips, haddock good, chips not nice. would go back for the pies again though.

Although the food is good wholesome grub and a goodly sized portion, I found the liquor to be lacking something. and is not as good as what you get in Bethnal Green. Overall I would go there again if I was passing as in my book why eat a kebab when you can have pie, mash and liquor. Just a pity it isn't open later in the day.
