The team was attentive and friendly, food and cocktails were delicious; couldn’t have asked for a better time and experience! Going to miss this pub and the team so very much!

One of our favourite venues to regularly visit.

We attended on Father’s Day and the place was in chaos. Our reserved table (had our name on it) had others sat on it. We didn’t make an issue of this and sat in... read more We attended on Father’s Day and the place was in chaos. Our reserved table (had our name on it) had others sat on it. We didn’t make an issue of this and sat in a completely different area. It was self-service but no one told us this. When we did order, we were told that there was an hour wait for the first course. We waited without complaining. However, the female behind the bar, who was the manager, was somewhat rude and abrupt when discussing an overpayment, which was an issue with their tills. The toilets were filthy but the remaining staff were all courteous and extremely hard working: those serving food did not stop and were always courteous, so hats off to them. The food was lovely and reasonably priced. Overall, we had a good day and can only presume that the other issues were due to understaffing on a busy day
