The food was ok for some, but not everyone enjoyed theirs. The baked Alaska dessert was terrible and the service slow. To their credit they accepted our complaints, deducted the desserts from the bill and the manager actually tried the baked Alaska and came to tell us she agreed with us. View all feedback.

There was a lot of noise from the serving area to the side of the restaurant. Although it is screened ofc the noise comes across.

Had the loveliest lunch enjoying our last meal at The Brookmans before moving back to the US. The team was attentive and friendly, food and cocktails were delicious; couldn’t have asked for a better time and experience! Going to miss this pub and the team so very much!

We attended on Father’s Day and the place was in chaos. Our reserved table (had our name on it) had others sat on it. We didn’t make an issue of this and sat in a completely different area. It was self-service but no one told us this. When we did order, we were told that there was an hour wait for the first course. We waited without complaining. However, the female behind the bar, who was the manager, was somewhat rude and abrupt when discussing an overpayment, which was an issue with their tills. The toilets were filthy but the remaining staff were all courteous and extremely hard working: those serving food did not stop and were always courteous, so hats off to them. The food was lovely and reasonably priced. Overall, we had a good day and can only presume that the other issues were due to understaffing on a busy day

I stumbled upon a fantastic discovery at this restaurant. They offer vegan sausage rolls, facon rolls, and vegan cakes. I also indulged in a surprise vegan grab bag filled with various vegan treats for only £5.
There are many delicious vegan choices and the staff is very friendly. Andrew, who is also vegan, knows his way around great food. The bacon roll was fantastic and if they happen to run out of certain items during the week, they have vegan refrigerated options available for purchase.

One of if not the best grilled Mediterranean meals I've had, the staff are very welcoming and their passion for the meals they make comes off how they talk to you and have they talk about the food! The meats are delicious, the chicken in particular is soft and moist to taste which isn't always a guarantee at a restaurant. The best thing to taste was the slow cooked lamb shoulder souvlaki. If you're looking to eat quality greek food in Barnet I highly recommend this place.

Very delicious food, clean and excellent service.
This is a fantastic small store where you can pick up or drop off your packages. It is operated by a very welcoming woman who excels at customer service. I frequent this store solely based on the exceptional service she provides. Some have mentioned that the store is too crowded, but I personally enjoy the wide variety of unique items that you can't find in typical stores, especially the excellent selection of American products.

We had an appalling Xmas dinner at BROOKMANS. We had some family over from Spain and it was embarrassing. Three pieces of Turkey brown meat two burnt chipolatas, vegetable mush and covered with gravy trying to hide the mess underneath. We ordered 4 of these meals! The starter was a fish cake which looked like it had been thrown on the plate. Cheap meat. This restaurant is a disgrace and I would highly recommend you don’t go there.
Really nice restaurant. Decor is lovely and the food was very good. The staff were all friendly and lunch was enjoyable.
Confirmation number: 83523 Booked 6pm for my girlfriends birthday, even got a reminder email the day before which was cool. Arrived 5.55 was seated and then we must have turned invisible. 3/4 tables of guests in the restaurant,. Counted 8 staff (1 girl at the bar making drinks since we arrived so can’t blame her- I said goodbye to her as we left) 20 minutes is too long to wait to be asked if we want a drink, overall a disappointing experience to a place I haven’t been to for 2/3 years, I’ve had good food before here but didn’t get to taste it this time. I didn’t feel right spending my money there as the service was so disappointing.

The food was absolutely delicious! My steak was cooked to perfection and the service from Sienna and the rest of the team was superb. This place is incredible!! Will definitely be back next week for another steak night special.

Many nice vegan options and very friendly staff. Andrew is also vegan so he knows good food. The bacon roller was really great and if you run out of certain foods during the week, they have to buy vegan fridge items.
What a great find. Vegan sausage rolls, facon rolls and vegan cakes. Had a surprise vegan gripper bag with many vegan treats for £5.
We went before the order. This place used to be very smart, but now he looks and feels like a Wetherspoons. The main waiter was on his own back alley and believes he runs a top restaurant in Mayfair. Funny how the images do not show the place in its true light. I think the architect/designer responsible for the ruin of a classic should be sacked. Not my scene.
We went to Brookmans for Valentine, got a red rose on arrival, which was a nice touch, waiter was nice, delicious cocktails food, great music, go there for the first time and will return 100%! Would recommend
We had two delicious Sunday lunch specialties a roasted lamb shoulder with all trimmings and a delicious Pannen hake with Cafe de Paris cauliflower. Great value for money.
