We frequently dine here for breakfast or brunch. The selection of gluten-free cake options is quite limited. However, they serve an excellent breakfast; personally, I find their current gluten-free bread and bread cakes a bit dry (as of May 2023), so I usually opt for the gluten-free breakfast without any bread. The portion is generous and hearty, and if you’re not a fan of a particular item, like the sausage, they a... View all feedback.

Fodders, a beloved eatery in Harrogate, blends exceptional local ingredients with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Despite occasional waits for a table, diners rave about the well-crafted meals, ranging from BBQ pulled pork wraps to delightful jacket potatoes and creative desserts like toffee apple cake. This is hands down the best restaurant I've been to in Harrogate. The quality of the local ingredients is excellent, and everything is cooked to perfection. My young child also really enjoys the food. The atmosphere is lovely, and there's a bit of shopping available too. The wait to get a table just goes to show how popular this place is!

Perfect for a pre-exhibition breakfast. Went for the ultimate breakfast sandwich, in brown. Meaty local sausage, runny egg and tasty bacon. If the fat was crispy rather than stringy I wouldn't have needed to remove it. Great coffee too

Visited here today to have a look after daughters recommendation. I just wanted to say how delighted my husband and I were. The produce was beautifully displayed and of course too tempting to resist. Our main impression however was the incredible customer service. We spoke to 3 different ladies who were extremely friendly and professional. We look forward to our next visit even though it is a fair way from home.

The portion is generous and hearty, and if you’re not a fan of a particular item, like the sausage, they are always happy to offer a substitution, such as extra mushrooms. They provide a variety of egg choices. It's a bustling spot, but they don’t rush you through your meal. You can’t make reservations — just stand in line, and they’ll seat you promptly. Just be sure to allow a few extra minutes during busy times.

We dine here regularly for breakfast/brunch. The gluten-free cake options are quite limited. However, they prepare an excellent breakfast; in my opinion, their current gluten-free bread and bread cake are a bit dry (as of May 2023), so I opt for a gluten-free breakfast without the bread. The portions are generous and quite hearty, and if you don’t like something, they always ask if you’d like a substitute, such as extra mushrooms. It’s a busy place, but they don't rush you. You can’t make reservations; instead, you wait in line to be seated, but they are efficient and usually seat you quickly, with just a few extra minutes during peak times.
