This cafe is an absolute gem. I have traveled to Hannibal, MO quite frequently for work. Every time I come to this town, I stay at the The Travelers Rooming House, right next door to Java Jive, and go to the cafe every day! The baked goods are always fresh and yummy. The breakfast sandwiches and sandwiches in general are delicious and BIG. I love the salads especially in this area where good, fresh salads are very rare. The drip coffee is so so not my favorite, but it doesn't warrant one less star because I get espresso drinks instead which are great! The gift shop in the cafe is one of the best. I always leave my work trips with items from the shop to give as gifts or keep for myself like a beautiful pie plate that I use frequently! IMO the best restaurant in Hannibal. Wonderful! My parents took my sister and I to Java Jive during a family vacation over 15 years ago. Their frozen cappuccinos were the best we had ever had. We have often talked about returning there and so today decided to do so. The coffee did notdisappoint!
Cute coffee shop on Main Street featuring light meals and pastries. There's a shop inside with a wide variety of kitschy items for sale as well. Good atmosphere quick service
