Love it here. A family friendly, mom and pop restaurant with the best burgers in tow, have won the Coast best burgers many times. Large servings with incredible low prices. This is a fantastic traditional diner that feels like stepping back in time in the best way possible. The service is top-notch and friendly. My daughter had been eager to try it because of the mouth-watering smell that always wafts by when we pass. She absolutely adored the attentive service, milkshake, fries, and grilled cheese.
Great little dinner. I had the fish and chips. Batter on the fish was nice and crispy and fish was flaky. The fries were crispy and fluffy. Gravy was a nice add on too. The price was excellent at $8 for a 2 piece. I'm going back soon to try the bacon cheeseburger and fries.
All the stars.. if you want to have an old school diner experience then come see the gang here.. not many of these spots left in halifax. Take your piece of paper to write down what you want and don’t forget to put your dishes away you filthy animals just go grab a club and some onion rings.. have a milkshake and forget about counting your calories for a minute
