Contribute FeedbackDurty Nelly's is a bustling spot with a large interior and outdoor patio, perfect for pre-theatre dinners. While some diners found the food to be good but not exceptional, others raved about the chowder and fish and chips. Service varied, with some experiencing slow service while others praised their attentive server. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with live music and a well-stocked bar. Overall, Durty Nelly's offers a solid dining experience, especially for those in need of a last-minute option in downtown Halifax.
We had a nice dinner, personal was pleasant and accommodating. it worked as well as 3 of us were led to neptune and 3 went to the occupant play.
Eating was delicious and the service amazingly fast.
I made and confirmed reservations for 8 people well in advance, we sat on a reserved table, but it was in a corner at a high table, chairs and bank, the unpleasant use. I'd think if you had a table reserved, you'd sit on a table, not bare stools. we had to bother our companions and players to get into the toilet room or move around. the waiting staff had to give food over the table, before us, or ask us to give food. I would recommend this pub in some cases, but would point out whether they reserve to indicate and determine whether a sport event is present. eating was good our server also good. the noise level decreased when the football game ended.
We were a group of six restaurants before the evening performance in the neptune theatre. the food was served well and timely, there were no disturbing views of the ears to make sure that we had time to get to the theater comfortably. our server was efficient and friendly.
The place is great. Although a few of my invited guest were charged for beer they did not have.
