Wow! Visited this wonderful pub on my last night in Halifax. It was a wonderful meal to end my trip. The atmosphere and decor is incredible. The servers were super friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. I had the pan seared haddock and it blew my mind. It was cooked perfectly. The cocktails are amazing and tasty. I ended the night with the strawberry cheesecake, GOD DAMN! Love this place! You must try it. Traditional pub fare with plenty of drink options. We were greeted with an additional food menu of specials when we arrived that is not on the website. Lobster/Haddock and chicken pot pie were excellent. This is an extremely well run establishment. Everything tastes scratch made and the service was spot on. Great British food restaurant in a historic heritage building. food was great, tasty beef&kidney pie with flavour of wine and black pepper. But it's quite hot during the summer days with no AC and barely ventilation. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
